The composer and singer of this song are Jay Chou. Jay Chou grew up in a single parent family in Taipei. His mother was a middle school teacher, and his father divorced his mother when he was young. Because of this, his mother pinned all her hopes on him and began to train him to learn piano. After many difficulties, Jay lived up to his mother's expectations and became a well-known singer. He wrote this song"listen to my mother" to thank my mother for her upbringing.

这首歌的作曲者、演唱者都是周杰伦。周杰伦是在台北市的一个单亲家庭长大的，母亲是个中学老师，父亲在他年幼时和妈妈离了婚。正因如此，母亲把所有希望都寄托在他身上，并开始培养他学钢琴，经过重重困难，周杰伦没有辜负妈妈的期望，成为一名家喻户晓的歌手。他写的这首《听妈妈的话》是为了感谢母亲的养育之恩。

This song was occasionally heard when I looked up information on the Internet. I was curious for a moment, so I listened to it several times and felt very moved. 这首歌是我在网上查资料时偶尔听到的，一时好奇所以重复听了几遍，觉得很感动。其中令我感触最深的一句歌词是：我会用功读书，用功读书怎么会从我嘴巴说出。不想你输，所以要叫你用功读书……其实我觉得没错，每个妈妈都会鼓励儿女用功读书，并且监督着儿女学习。有些同学或许不解，看着窗外的小朋友欢快地玩耍着，自己却在窗里学习，也许会闹着出去吧！
